Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) Scanning
Non-destructive scanning of concrete slabs, walls, decks, and other applicable areas to locate reinforcing steel and other embedded features. GPR may also be used to evaluate reinforcement spacing and depth, estimate concrete cover, and identify suitable locations for coring, drilling, or cutting where site conditions permit.
Pull-Off Adhesion Testing (Dolly Testing)
Field evaluation of the bond strength of coatings, overlays, repair materials, membranes, and other bonded systems applied to concrete, masonry, and other applicable substrates.
Pull-Out and Proof-Load Testing
Field testing of anchors, bolts, reinforcing bars, and other fasteners to evaluate installation quality, load resistance, and conformance with specified project requirements.
Chloride-Ion Testing of Concrete
Laboratory testing of acid-soluble and water-soluble chloride-ion content in concrete to support durability assessments and evaluate conditions that may contribute to reinforcement corrosion.
Concrete Floor Moisture Testing
Evaluation of concrete slab moisture conditions using in-situ relative humidity (RH) probes and calcium chloride testing. These methods help determine whether concrete is suitable for the installation of flooring systems, coatings, adhesives, and other moisture-sensitive materials.
Concrete Mix Design Review and Trial Batching
Technical review of proposed concrete mix designs and laboratory trial batching to evaluate workability, consistency, strength characteristics, and conformance with project specifications.
Construction Materials Inspection
Field inspection of reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and masonry construction to help verify that materials, installation, and workmanship conform to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
